Abstract

Health information technology can effectively improve the quality of medical or medical services, but if we evaluated careless, it may cause the failure to achieve system efficiency, effectiveness, and satisfaction. The general systems are often developed using the System Development Lifecycle approach (SDLC). However, this system using SDLC is usually designed from a technical point of view. If the evaluation results are not well, modifying or maintaining the system will cost high. Thus, system design should take into account some of the stages or system assessment constructions at each stage of SDLC. The purpose of this study is to design a user-centric system development framework based on SDLC and system assessment methods. We carefully reviewed several systematic assessment methods by systematically reviewing papers and included four constructions for the SDLC. They are usability, acceptance, satisfaction, and continuous intention to use. We use qualitative depth access to verify the proposed system development framework as a reference by the system developer at all stages. In this paper, we suggest that usability test should be tested in Specify Needs for Setting and Users and System Component Development phases, user acceptance should be evaluated in System Component Development phase, user satisfaction should be evaluated in Combine Components, Integrate System, and Routine Use phases, and Continuance Intention to Use should be evaluated in Routine Use phase.
